BQ34110: couldn't write on data flash

Part Number: BQ34110

i read voltage() and it's value > data flash update voltage but i can update data flash registers in calibration mode only.

what should i do or check ?

and is VEN pin should be always high if i configure external voltage divider ?

  • Hello Gehad,

The information regarding data flash updates are in the TRM:

Data flash (DF) can only be updated if Voltage() ≥ Flash Update OK Voltage, except while the device is in CALIBRATION mode. Flash programming current can cause an increase in LDO dropout. The value of Flash Update OK Voltage should be selected such that the device VCC voltage does not fall below its minimum of 2.4 V during flash write operations.

Can you share a log and .gg file when you're trying to update the flash?

    Sincerely,

    Wyatt Keller
