TPS23523: Maximum Load Capacity

Hi,

Good day. I hope you are well.

Our customer wants to use the TPS23523 for a -48V telecom infrastructure and they came across with its EVM and found that the max load capacity is 400W. From how they understand it, this limit is based on the FET used in the design. If so, can they use it in a 1kW application? If not, we would appreciate if you could suggest another device that would work for them.

    Thanks for reaching out!

    Though the EVM is designed for 400W, the device can support 1kW application. Please fill-in your requirements in the design calculator and send me for review.

    The design calculator is available under product folder.
