No, it doesn't look like this cell has been characterized. You can find the ID for the cell by following the process in the attached zip file.
Chase,
We do not have an active Matlab license. I have cycled two cells on the Arbin as per the TI recommendation, logging temperature as well. If I send the Arbin data in Excel format, can someone at TI run the Matlab profile for me? Thanks.
Yes, please attach your spreadsheet and I will run the data through Mathcad.
I have attached (hopefully) the cycle data from channel one of the Arbin. There are data for two cell cycles.
Thanks, Joe Perino
Hello Chase,
I realized after I posted the data that the cell is different than the original query. We are using the
4500mAh Li-Polymer Saehan SPB636395 now.
Thanks,
Joe Perino
Joe,
I am having issues opening this file. It says it's in an unrecognizable format. Can you try resaving it and attaching it again?
Chase,
Here is the file in an older Excel format. I got the same message on my laptop because I am running an older version of Office than the version on our Arbin PC. I had to delete a couple of columns of irrelevant data to get the file under 20Meg.
Thanks again,
Joe Perino
Joe,
It looks like the logging resolution is during the rest period (300s) is giving our tool some issues and I am unable to calculate an ID. Can you redo the test and change the logging resolution to 10 seconds during the rest periods. You can also decrease the logging resolution to 10s during the discharge cycle and 60 seconds for the charge cycle to make a smaller file.
Chase,
I restarted the test this morning and will attach the data as soon as cycling is complete.
Thanks,
Joe P.
Chase,
Data is attached. There is data for two cells, cycled on channels 1 and 2 of the Arbin.
Thanks,
Joe Perino
Joe,
Neither cell matched an existing ID, so it looks like these cells will need a new ID created for them. Please send 2 or 3 samples of each cell to the following address:
Attn: Eric Vos
Texas Instruments
12500 TI Blvd KI-224
MS 8709
Dallas, TX, 75243
Also, please send me an e-mail copy of the datasheets for these cells and I will forward them to Eric. My e-mail is chase@ti.com.
