please refer to the datasheet page 6, chapter 7.6. the device need at least 5.3V to startup firstly, after that the device can be down to 3V. 

what is the output current in your application? if it is not automotive application, there could be alternative solution.

Hi Marco,

I would suggest TPS63060. it is not pin2pin. you could apply an EVM to for evaluation with your system.

it is best solution. an alternative solution is TPS63070 which supports webench. 

you can try to apply an EVM from TI.com.

it's good, but I need Vin from 2V to 12V, but it must survive until 20V
is there any component good for me?
I need 500mA max
