Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV135
Hello,
We are working on a project with a -12V requirement. I have regulated 12V supply on my board.
Kindly review the attached design and let me know the comments.

Hi Melbin,
Thanks for reaching your question and for considering the LT1054 in your design.
Can you please repost the schematic? I am not able to see it. For the application, what is the maximum load current for the the -12V?
Thanks,
Garrett
Hi Garrettt,
The -12V is connected to the -ve supply of Audio driver DRV135. So I am expecting a load current of 6mA.
Please find the schematics attached below
Hello Melbin,
The schematic looks good.
In general you could remove the resistor divider if you have a regulated 12V supply as the LT1054 will then invert the input voltage to a negative voltage that is slightly lower than the input voltage.
Even with the resistor divider, the output voltage will be lower than the input voltage, see the voltage loss specification in the electrical characteristics of the datasheet.
