Hi team,
Can you have look into my customers issue?
We use the TPS2561 device on a power supply for 5V and have noticed an unpleasant behavior there (channel 1, yellow):
In case of a capacitive load jump (from 0 to 47uF, caused e.g. by plugging in a third device) the device first switches off the output voltage and then ramps it up again. The input voltage remains unchanged at 5V.
This would not be a problem as far as it goes, but on closer inspection you can see that the output voltage briefly takes on a negative value of about -1.3V (second image).
This behavior is a problem because the third device is not specified for negative voltage at this level. How does this voltage occur and how could we prevent this?
Thank you,
Franz
