TPS7H1101A-SP

Hi team,

My customer wants to ask whether there is a spec for the forward leakage across this part?

Just to be more specific - in the Functional Block Diagram shown in Section 8.2 in the datasheet, specifically how much current gets through the CS stage and PMOS when the device is disabled (OFF). Any data over temperature would be greatly appreciated!

  • Yanni,

I am not aware of any data on this.   I will check with the design team and get back with you.

  •  when the device is disabled (OFF), the current getting through the internal CS stage and PMOS over 125℃. Thank you.

  • Yanni,

We do have a shutdown current spec in the datasheet that will cover this current.  It is generally defined as the current through the VIN terminal when the part is disabled. The OUT current would then be equal to or somewhat less than this current as a small amount of this current will leak through other smaller paths to ground.

The datasheet seems to imply that this is only specified at 25c.

However, I have confirmed that the limit applies across all temperatures.   The note is meant to imply that this limit only applies at 25c after group E.

I looked at a radiation report, and the LDR data shows this parameter to slightly decrease with exposure.   Thus, the full limit should be valid across full range of device operation (end of life, and 100Krad exposure).
