Hi Sir,

I purchased TI TPS92513EVM-001, I have a problem on Analog and PWM Dimming.

Dimming potentiometer 50K

Output DC12V

Output 3.5v/900mA

Problems: when the dimming potentiometer is adjusted to the minimum, the LED still has brightness and can't be turned off completely.

Hi Frank,

Could you check what's the volatge value to "IADJ" pin when "the dimming potentiometer is adjusted to the minimum"? And you cna check the Figure 5 that there is some offset even the voltage on the "IADJ" pin is zero. So that is the normal behavior for this device, if you want to shutdown totally, you can pull down the "PDIM" pin to ground.

If I pull down the PWM pin, I can not adjust LED dimming by IADJ.

Do you have any solution to use IADJ only to adjust LED dimming and shutdown completely? no brightness at all.

we only want to use Analog Dimming.

Hi Frank,

I'm sorry that there is also a offset here for the "IADJ“ pin. So you can't adjust the current to sero when you only adjust the "IADJ" pin.
