EV2400: No power and no communication with computer. DOA

Part Number: EV2400

I just purchased an EV2400 that doesn't work DOA. I was told by customer service that I need to post here before this item can be returned. The device does not work. No communication with working computer usb port and usb cable. No indication of any status light on device. Tried multiple usb cables, working computer along with downloaded software. An urgent response from an engineer is appreciated so that this return can be processed. Thank you.

Hi Damian,

If nothing lights up when pugged into USB port than it is likely DOA.

Hi Damian,

How was the part ordered? We are currently out of stock so a replacement sent from TI would be delayed.

I suggest bringing this up with your local TI sales rep.

Hi Nick,

Would it be okay for the customer to proceed with the replacement process now and just let the replacement procedure run its course? We'll just require him to send back the defective EV2400 prior proceeding?
