LM7480-Q1: TINA-TI transient Model charge pump current does not match datasheet

Hi Team,

I would like to get your assistance it this information our customer shared with us for LM7480-Q1 TINA-TI transient Model :

According to the customer, the part behaves as expected for the most part, but they see that the max charge pump current is only about 470 µA. The datasheet for this part indicates a typical charge pump current of 2.7 mA. This low charge pump current is causing a problem when trying to rectify superimposed AC, but they do not think that problem would actually occur.

They want to know if has this portion of the LM7480-Q1 transient model been validated? They also confirmed that this low charge pump current is present on the common-drain simulation downloaded directly from the TI website, so they do not believe it is due to the way they are simulating the part.

Please let me know your comment.

Thanks for your patience.

The model released on TI.com has the charge pump characteristics of previous silicon. The final silicon which is released right now has higher Gate source current.

We are discussing internally to revise the model with the correct charge pump characteristics as soon as possible.
