Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM51561H
I am trying to make 100V using a SEPIC topology.
If LM51561H is to be simulated using the WEBENCH of TI, it shows that it can be output up to 60V with a SEPIC topology.
is this right?

Hi Lee,
Thank you for your interest in LM51561H.
I'm not sure why there is a 60V limitation set for the SEPIC on Webench but you should be able to make 100V output if there is no other limit such as the input. Here it maybe related to your Vin min 5V. How did you get this range estimation? I cannot see this if I just open in Webench design webpage.
Thanks,
Yinsong
Thanks for the quick reply.
Search ti website with LM51561H
The address searched is as follows.
www.ti.com/.../LM51561H
If you slide the screen down, you will see the WEBENCH® Designer LM51561H topology flyback.
Here you can select the topology as sepic.

Hi HongGyo,
I'll check with our webench team and get back to you but you don't need to follow it. Before that, please use the quick start calculator for your design reference instead.

Hi, Yinsong
Thank you for answer.
I confirmed that the data provided is useful when using a coupled inductor.
I am trying to use two uncoupled inductors.
I need an inductor calculation formula and a design tool when using uncoupled inductors.
Please help.
Best regards
HongGyo Lee
Hi HongGyo,
Sorry but currently, we do not have a document released for non-coupled inductor, but the calculation itself is very similar. You can also refer to the general guidelines in this application note.
