BQ25155: Power management for 3.3v and 4.75v out

We are using BQ25155 in combination of BQ51025 (wireless charging) and need 3.3v + 4.9v out for other components. We are suing Nordic nrf5340 dual core SoC processor and AMS as7038 heart rate sensor. Can you suggest the schematic and the buck boost ICs to be used for TI components?

Hi Vivek,

BQ25155 is a good choice and I would recommend a design similar to this which has all the resources you will need. www.ti.com/.../PMP21884

Could you let me know the reason for selecting BQ51025? The BQ51025 is not recommended for new designs.

We have the BQ51013B which is an "Active" device.

Hi,

If we eliminate the BQ25155 to go with wireless charging only, which IC would be suitable as BQ51013B is not with I2C control?

We wanted to eliminate one IC as we are only using wireless charging in our device and removing the wired one. We want the power management too, so are searching for the suitable IC.

Hi,

this apart, please suggest how do we get 3.3V out instead of 1.8v by BQ25120a, that we are getting right now?

Please suggest if any changes to be made in the schematic, or jumper to be added, as the PCBA is already made.

Hi Vivek,

You can configure the SYS VOUT Control Register to output 3.3V. Just know it is a buck converter so at low vbat you will not be getting 3.3V.

We have a setup tool for the device here that will generate .txt file with these register initialized:
