BQ40Z80: BQ40Z80 - To program a FlashStream file to bq40z80

I would create a FlashStream (*.dt.fs or *.bq.fs) file in the bqStudio and then we can use our host to program a FlashStream file to bq40z80 devices. as like below bq40z50, but I can't find in bq40Z80. Do you have any recommend? Thanks

Hello Gary,

Let me check to see if we support flash stream files for the bq40z80. We have been moving to support more gauges with flash stream export function in bqStudio, but I'm not sure if the bq40z80 has been added yet.

We don't currently have a plan to add it to the bqStudio interface, I would move forward with using the .srec file for programming.

Hello Gary,

We don't have a application note for it like the gauge communication app note, but Motorola S-record is a standard format and there should be information online. The flash-stream files are a newer addition and specific for the gauges.
