Is there an option to use an off the shelf transformers instead of coil transformers on Webench?
The customer is trying to design a supply, but don't have the capacity to wrap a custom transformer, and need to use something where the transformer is all ready wrapped when he gets it. All of the ones that are showing up in webench are just the cores with a coil.

Thanks for the above query. Yes, we do have an option to choose off the shelf transformers. Click on the Transformer symbol in the schematic to get the option as shown in below image.
However, If you don't find off the shelf transformer in the list, it might be due to below reason.
Transformer design process on Webench is bit complex and includes multiple variables (Inductance value, number of turns, AWG Layer, strands, transformer losses which meets efficiency standards to name a few). In view of all these constraints, Webench transformer designer gives us custom transformer which can meet all these criteria. Typical we will not be able to find off the shelf transformer always because there are multiple criteria associated with transformer design and database limitation of Webench. However we can always try finding our required transformer on digikey or coil-craft. But in many cases we might have to go with custom only. Could you please share your design conditions (VinMin, VinMax, Vout, Iout, TA and IC) so that at our end we will also try to check if we can find something closer off-the shelf transformer for you from Coilcroft and digikey?
