TPS563201: Output capacitance.

Hi team,

I'd like to know about output capacitance.

My customer wants to use add 630uF(an aluminum electrolytic capacitor) for it is a measure for a momentary power failure.
Can it use?

    Hi Kengo,

    What do you mean by momentary power failure here? Could you please give some detailed information? 

    TPS563201 recommended output capacitor values range from 20 µF to 68µF. Larger capacitors could cause double pole of LC filter far away from high frequency zero which D-CAP2 introduced, so it maybe threat the stability. Also an 680uF aluminum electrolytic capacitor usually has a large ESR which must increase output ripples. If you could provide schematic, I can help do further analysis.
