TPS23758: PoE with high efficiency at 2W

Hi all

My customer has an application where they want to implement PoE at a power level of 2W.

Looking at e.g. the TPS23758 they find the efficiency is rather low at 2W.

Can you point to another device or another solution that would have higher efficiency at 2W ?

Hello,

You would need to change the transformer to be optimized at 2W

Thank you for the quick reply and for your additional inputs provided by separate EMail, this is very helpful.

So if the customer would like to use an off-the-shelf transformer he could look at the list of out Power Reference Designs:
