Hi Sir,
the attached file is TPA23881 PoE 8-port PSE 90W design schematic, may we learn and help check this schematic from you.
especially the design between MSP430 and TPS23881, if any problem or suggestion please let us know and learn.

Hi Tommy, I will look into this and get back to you soon. Thanks!
Hi Tommy,
A couple comments on the schematic:
Pin 52 on TPS23881 is NC. The resistors and cap can be NI
Be sure RST pin is LOW during power up of VPWR. This is a startup requirement as described in the datasheet.
For the MSP430 schematic, I reviewed the GPIO assignments and they look good for FirmPSE software solution. However, I also recommend reviewing this with the MSP430 team for the other pin functionality. Thanks!
Hi Tommy, adding to this, I noticed they are NOT using the JTAG like shown in our FirmPSE reference design. I recommend copying what we did in the reference design the JTAG pin are needed to download code onto the MSP430. Or is customer doing a different method like I2C?
Hi Darwin Fernandez,
thanks for your reply and help.
customer wil use I2C to load code, and firmPSE user guide has been provided. so i need to inform customer to use JTAG rule?how to do?
Hi Tommy,
Is customer programming BSL code or BSL + APP code in the factory. Then are they using BSL for updates in the field? Thanks!
