TPS61378-Q1: Low Resistance Load and Output Short Protection/Hiccup

Part Number: TPS61378-Q1

Hello

I noticed a thing with the IC.

I have a circuit draining 0,5A from Boost output.
I set Current limit @1.8A with a 51K resistor.

I tested the circuit with a load that simulate a 0.5A custant current sink (resistance <1Ohm).

Cause the series resistance on start is very low and Vfb<0.1 the state of the circuit changes to 1/5 ILIM

(from datasheet)
"When FB voltage is below ≤ 0.1 V during fault condition, current limit threshold is reduced to 1/5 of the programmed current limit, and frequency is clamped to 1.1 MHz if the FREQ pin setting is greater than 1.1 MHz"

In this condition the circuit will never start. It will start only if i connect the load after the start-up.

I also noticed that shorting to GND the ILIM resistor allow the circuit to start and reach 0.5A on the output.

May i ask you if there is a suggested way (like a cap. aside ILIM resistor) to avoid output short state during fast transients?
