Hello,
In design recommendations document slua791a, it is recommended to chain multiple devices from bottom-stack/low voltage to up-stack/high voltage.
Can you please elaborate why this is needed? As the daisy chain is differential signal, the order of the 455 for each module (or absolute voltage of each battery module compare to minus pole) should not have an influence on communication. The only consequence should be that the ID's reported by by the ADDR register of each 455 will follow the daisy chain order not the battery stack order.
Is that correct, or is there an other reason to follow this recommendation (e.g. electrical signal levels)?
