BQ24078: regulated Vout when battery temp is too high

Part Number: BQ24078

We have observed that the BQ24078 in our charger can enter suspended charging mode when the battery's NTC exceeds resistance equivalent to 50C. Charging then resumes once the temperature drops below the limit plus a certain hysteresis.

From practical measurements it seems that the system voltage output VOUT state stays in regulated VOUT mode whilst the charger remains in suspended charging mode. Can you please confirm that this is the case and whilst the IC is supplied from VIN/USB=5v ?

Thanks,
Nick
