TPS62480: Undershoot on SW Node

Part Number: TPS62480
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS62866, TPS62869

Team,

I have a customer who is observing a negative voltage on the SW node.  This is of course standard for a sync buck.  However, we don't specify the transient undershoot in the DS.  Usually a DS will show a 10ns undershoot voltage minimum.  Is there a reason we don't have this on the TPS62480?

Thanks!

Russell

  • Hi Russell,

The TPS62480 was probably released before we started adding this to our D/S.

As well, for a newer, smaller, cheaper 6A device please look at TPS62866 and TPS62869.  Would these work for your customer?
