BQ76952: How to connect for less cell application?

Hi team,

Customer want to know how to connect for less cell application, would some VCx and VCx+1 can not be shorted and must be connected to one cell? Thanks!

I have read this section before, while I am not sure if VC0 and VC1 can be connected like VC12 and VC13, also concern for VC15 and VC16. Please give me a guide for these pins. Thanks!

Hi Jayden,

The BQ76952 data sheet section 16-6 recommends that cells 3 through 15 can be shorted for reducing the cell count. It is an interesting question about cells 1 & 2, we may consider it in the future.
