BQ24075: Time between Sys On and OFF

Hello Guys,

Good day.

A Customer of ours have some clarification, if he use System ON/OFF control pin, what about the time  between  the sys ON  and the battery connection to the load? may the load be kept alive during the transition?

    Hi Art,

    Here's an example waveform showing the SYSOFF toggle and the battery being disconnected from the system. 

    If the device is operating in battery only mode, the load (if powered by the OUT pin) will be powered off as the OUT pin (powered by bat in bat only mode) toggles off. 

    If power is present at IN, SYSOFF pulled high will disconnect the battery through the internal BATFET and prevent charging. 

    There may be variation from to device to device.
