BQ27421-G1: Is a LiNiMnCoO2 battery considered a LiCoO2 based battery?

Hi,

The BQ27421-G1 says it supports LiCoO2 -based batteries. I am looking for a fuel gauge to use with a Samsung INR18650-30Q. I believe this has a battery chemistry of LiNiMnCoO2.  Is this Samsung battery considered a LiCoO2 based battery?
