Hi team,

The requirement is: VIN=5V, Vout=12V, Iout=0.8A. Could TLV61048 meet the requirement?

From datasheet, the minimum peak switch current limit is 2.9A and this device could achieve 0.8A output current. Is there any thermal problem? Thanks.

Yes, the main concern is thermal rise. I would suggest you choose other devices, such as TPS61372, TPS61175, TPS61089

Thanks for your help. Customer also cares about the price. The price of recommended devices is higher than customer target price. Do you have any thermal experiment result about TLV61048?
