TPS3431: EN Pin pulled low

Part Number: TPS3431
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM4378

Hi Team,

In our design we are using the Watchdog Timer IC TPS341 as an external watchdog to AM4378.

During the initial boot up to ensure that AM4378 is not repeatedly reset by the Watchdog IC (since it may expect WDI from the processor after Trst (200ms) time elapsed from power supply reaching 1.8V) we have kept the EN pin of the IC in pull down mode.

Once processor booting is complete and it can generate the PWM required for the WDI pin we are planning to make the EN pin to High using GPIO. (will there be any reset assertion when EN pin transitions from Low to High)

Please confirm if this is ok.

Regards,

M Amarnath
