Schematic is attached below for reference.

Input voltage is 60V and output 12V (max 500mA Load current).

For load current of 100mA, IC (U53)  LM5164-Q1 and inductor (L13) are heat is generated and temperature reaches 80 degree plus within few mins and saturates.

Please explain what may be reason and provide solutions.

    You can simulate LM5164 application in Webench

    For 60V to 12V/1A at 500KHz:

    IC power loss is 1.2W and Tj is 79C.

    the IC temp should be much lower than 79C at 100mA load.

    How many PCB layers of your board? Please check if your PCB layout  has good thermal design, or apply one LM5164EVM and modify the circuit to verify your application design.
