A cycle count error occurred in the battery pack using bq40Z50. (The count jumped from 100 to 13000)

bq40Z50 is not sealed.

This is probably due to the effects of electrical noise.

But why does it not affect other settings and only the cycle count?

Is there any other cause for the cycle count to jump besides electrical noise?

The cycle count register can be written, it may have been over-written during an update.

(1) If the gauge IC is not sealed, is there a possibility that other registers will be rewritten by electrical noise?

(2) Is Cycle count jumping because the gauge IC is vulnerable to electrical noise?

(3) Please also answer this question."Is there any other cause for the cycle count to jump besides electrical noise?"

Hello,

I haven't seen noise cause changes in data flash. Is this happening often, and on multiple gaues? Can you share a log of the cycle count jumping?

Cycle count jumps occur suddenly and cannot be logged.

It doesn't happen very often. It only happens very rarely.
(Once last year, once this year.)

But I want to avoid problems as much as possible.
So please tell me the conditions that can occur.
