Hello,

In the functional block diagram, "Zero Volt Charge Control" is placed below the High side N FET drive. According to the table below, does "Zero volt charge control" mean the CHG and DSG are off when the battery voltage below 0.4V?

Also it's not clear how VDSG and VCHG are determined.

The table couldn't be attached, but I'm talking about "7.25 N-CH FET Drive (CHG, DSG)".

Hello Kazuto-san,

In general for our gauges with zero-volt charge, the path from the pack is tied to the battery to allow a slow trickle charge until the battery passes the voltage needed for the gauge to turn on, Vstartup.

Hello,

It will depend on your configuration, you can check the block diagram in the bq40z50 data sheet for an example for the block level implementation. I believe it is very low, generally under 50 mA until it reaches the voltage threshold to exit.
