UCC28782：About OVP latch stop

Hello TI-Team,

I'm considering using UCC28782.

The UCC28782's abnormal stop mode can be selected from AR or Latch, but I want to latch stop only OVP.
Is there any other way than building a latch circuit externally?
Are there any plans to make it available as an option?

Thanks for your interesting in TI's part.

I am sorry to say that you can select OVP as the only latch protection . I am don't know if your application is USB PD ? if yes , the PD controller can be used to for OVP latch function since there is a BUS switch on secondary side.
