Hello!
I am looking for a high side protected power switch for switching between two 5V sources (OR configuration). The main "thing" about my project that I am having difficulty with finding a solution for is that one source has a 500mA power limit (external USB port source) and the other source is from a external AC adapter with a 1A power limit. I was wondering if paralleling two 500mA limited switches would work if there were three total?
For the design as a whole, compact circuits but hand solderable (i.e. not DFN, QFN, etc.), with SOIC and DIP prefereable since this is for a DIY possibly kit project.
Thank you for the help!
