Hi
what's the value of AVdd and Rpu in TPS26600's datasheet? if /SHDN left floating, it means the eFUSE is turned on, right?
thanks

HI Rakesh
The SHDN/ is pulled to 4.4V in my test when RTN is not connected to GND. if connecting RTN to GND, the pulled voltage is 2.7V, according the datasheet, the recommended operating condition for SHDN/ is 4V maximum, is the voltage ok (4.4V) for RTN is not connected to GND?

Hi Jian,
What is the pullup resistor you used at SHDN/ pin ? Please use at least 10kOhm to limit current to <10mA as defined in the abs max rating table 7.1
Best Regards, Rakesh
Hi Rakesh
there is no pullup resistor in my test, the SHDN/ pin is left open.

Hi Jian,
Can you please let me know what do you mean by "The SHDN/ is pulled to 4.4V in my test" statement in the above ?
Best Regards, Rakesh
Hi Rakesh
You mentioned above that SHDN/ is pulled to2.7V (typ) with 667Kohm (typ) , then in my test environment, the SHDN/ pin left open , i measured the voltage between SHDN/ pin and GND pin using multimeter, the voltage is 4.4V when RTN is not connected to GND. if RTN is connected to GND, the measured voltage is 2.7V which is same to you mentioned.
So my question is: if RTN is not connected to GND, the 4.4V is higher than 4V which is the maximum recommended operating voltage in datasheet, is that acceptable? if ok, what's the maximum voltage for SHDN/ pin referred to GND?

wang jian
Hi Jian,
It is fine. The absolute max voltage rating of SHDN/ is 62V.
We should be careful when external voltage is applied on the SHDN/ pin. It is acceptable if the pin is left OPEN.
