I don't have bqstudio installed. The part is in the PCB, but I can interrogate it with any commands.

The configuration file ( .gg) can only be extracted in bqstudio.

Thank you for sharing an example log.

The part is in the PCB of our product, which runs Linux. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there is way I can interface with the part using bqstudio from Windows. I would have to use an evaluation board.

I ran some commands just to get the basic data from the part:

DEVICE_TYPE: 0x0742
FW_VERSION: 0x0103
HW_VERSION: 0x00A3
PROTECTOR_VERSION: 0x0003
CHEM_ID: 0x2017

I'd be happy to run any other commands (however many necessary).

Is there anything else that can be done or checked?

In the log it is important to see the issue reproduce and the following data: current, voltage, temperature and both filtered/unfiltered SOC, FCC, and RC.

This log is not very useful in hex value. Also we need a longer log time showing the RC and SOC issues you are seeing to be able to identify the root cause.
