Hi team,

My customer is asking about POE TPS23754 EVB

There are two different connection methods of Lan transformer in the following figure.


What are the advantages and disadvantages of each?
Which one is generally recommended?

    Hey Ben,

    I am not sure what the differences are here? Can you explain the differences?

    The pairsets are all terminated by the proper Bob-Smith terminations; this is what we recommend. 

    I do see differences in the data side, but that is due to the PHY transformer selection.
