TPS65192: TPS65912: SPI Protocol

Part Number: TPS65192
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65912

From datasheet, it stated that TPS65912 supports both SPI and I2C interface.

When configured to use SPI interface, can SPI access all the TPS65912 register ?

Section 7.18 stated that the host to access interrupt status register via I2C ?

  • Hello May,

Let me assign this to correct product line that supports TPS65912 device and someone will respond to you soon.

    Kind Regards,

  • Hello May,

Yes, the SPI can access all the TPS65912 registers. Please see section 7.22 below:

    7.22 Interfaces

There are three interfaces in the TPS65912x device. A high-speed I2C interface that has access to all register, a SPI interface that can optionally be used to access all registers and a high-speed power I2C interface that can be used to dynamically change the output voltage of the DC-DC converters. The power
I2C interface only has access to the voltage scaling registers of the DC-DC converters.
