Is there a recommended laser diode and configuration required to obtain 1-2ns pulses? Cause with normal Led(for testing purpose) after removing R5-R8 resistors I am only receiving continuous output and not pulsed probably because of impedance mismatch, cause the other waveforms matches according to the user guide.

Hi Sushmit,

I recommend to review section "8.2.2.2" of the device datasheet with information on how to create nanosecond pulses using LMG1020.

Regarding the laser diode recommendation, we have seen previous customer use this one.

Thanks for your interest in our drivers. I work with Leslie in the driver's group.

We do not have a specific laser diode to suggest but you need to ensure that any laser diode will meet the board's operating conditions (voltage, current ratings, etc...).

In addition to Leslie's previous recommendation, below is an additional link where you may find compatible diodes.
