Hi All,

Based on the product details, max Battery capacity is 32000mA, while in the Technical Reference document the Design capacity Max is 8000mA. I was wondering which one is correct? I have a 13Ah battery and I have used this IC in my design I want to make sure if this gas gauge IC can be used since i am not getting the correct remaining capacity value. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hello Masi,

I would recommend staying under 8000mAh for this gauge, the value is decided because it is limited by other calculations internal to the gauge which may limit it from the 32000mAh value max of the registers.

Thanks Wyatte, Do you know any other gauge preferable with the same pinout which supports 13Ah?
