Required PMIC solutions for Intel atom processor E3827

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS59641

Dear TI Team,

We are using the Intel atom processor E3827 in one of our project.

Kindly suggest the PMIC for that ie we can get the +VCORE and +VGFX voltage.

We also need the other output voltages with the same PMIC like - 1.0V, 1.1V, 1.8V,3.3V etc.

Please refer the Part No- BD9596BMWV from ROHM semiconductor, It has all the voltage rail as we required.

Suggest an alternate parts form TI side.

Thanks

Abhishek

  • Hi Abhishek,

TI does not have a PMIC for E3827, we developed the PMIC for the Bay Trail CR (Z3700) which does not have enough power for the E3827.

TI does offer a variety of discrete components that can be used though. The Bayley Bay and Bakersport reference designs both heavily feature TI power, including TPS59641 for IMVP7 operation. Would you be able to utilize one of these reference designs from Intel?
