LM5156: Using unencrypted PSpice model in LTSpice?

Is anyone successfully using the LM5156 model in LTSpice?

I started with a simple boost circuit to see how the model behaves but after the VCC pin ramps up the switching doesn't start. SS pin does not ramp up. Do I need to modify some PARAMs in the model file?

    Hi Jeffrey,

    i am not familiar with LTspice.

    The general guidelines how to use the model are described in "application Notes" in the simulation decks. Please configure SS parameter as described:

    The parameter SS has been used to reach the steady state faster. Keep SS = 0 to observe startup behavior and SS = 1 for faster Steady state along with proper initial conditions at VIN,VOUT,SS and VCC nodes.
