Hi Team,

Our customer would like to confirm if 2 LMR33620 can be connected in parallel to increase the current as they need a current value of 4A?
They have LMR33620 as of the moment so if it is not recommended then we will suggest LMR33640.

    Jonathan,

    It is not recommended without additional current-monitoring circuitry. Both devices will regulate to slightly different output voltages which means the current will not be shared equally between the devices. This may be okay but it would require sizing both power stages for max power in the event one is in current limit while the other provides the additional current.
