TPS63810: maximum capacitance of SCL pin and SDA pin

Hello,

 

How much pF is the maximum capacitance of SCL pin and SDA pin respectively?

My customer would like to know it to design their I2C bus lines.

    Hello Kazuhiko,

    You can find the values in the datasheet on page 7 in the timing requirements. I am sorry that the unit pF is missing.

    Thank you for your response.

    But, my customer is asking capacitance of pins (it should be <10pF according I2C spec), not load capacitance (it should be <400pF for standard and fast mode).

     

    My customer would like to use as large pull up resister as possible, so they would like to know the pin capacitance itself to calculate optimum pull up resister.

    Hello Kazuhiko,

    The interface is designed according the I2C spec, so the pin capacitance should be below 10pF. I think the lines connected to SCL and SDA are more defining the capacitance than the device itself. I do not expect that I am getting a more stringent information than the one given in the I2C spec.
