The GPI Config register has 32 entries for GPIs. Each entry has a "Fault pin bit"
According to TI's UCD90320 Sequencer and System Health Controller PMBus Command Reference...
"When this bit is set with GPI_CONFIG command, the corresponding pin is
behaved as FAULT pin instead of GPI pin. MAX 4 pin could be configured as Fault pin.
Device shall NACK if there are more than 4 pins are configured as Fault pin. The first fault
pin is the first pin who has the fault pin bit set. "
I've used other UCD90xxx parts before, but don't recall such a GPI Fault Enable limitation.
1) Is this limit of 4 unique to the UCD90320?
2) If this is an actual limitation, why does the GUI (Fusion Digital Power Designer) allow you to configure more than 4 without some sort of warning?
