BQ40Z50: Charging is stopped before it is fully charged

Part Number: BQ40Z50

My customer evaluating battery pack(4- shift 1-para)  with bq40z50 provided by battery pack supplier.

However , charging is stopped before it is fully charged because only one cell is overcharged during its charging.

.battery pack supplier instructs 2 items as follows.

1.charge by CC / CV mode

2. The CV should be charged at 12.6V.

They are using proven charger in their system under bq40z50 status.

Is there any "care about" or" checkpoint" in order to avoid this situation ?

    Hello Sakuma-san,

    We will need to take a look at the logs and the .gg file of their configuration to know if there's ways to improve performance.

    If there's one cell that is overcharging the pack may not be balanced or the cell is damaged. You would need to make sure cell balancing is enabled.
