TPS62424-Q1: Output of DCDC2 is out of spec

Hi team,

Customer is using TPS62424 for automotive.
Their system is 5Vin, up to 300mA output and 1.8Vout at 2nd DCDC.

The datasheet specify the output voltage accuracy is -1% to 1% but they find the voltage was above than 1.8V+1% (1.818V).

-1% to 1% is rated for Vout2>2V so their output is less voltage.

Could you share the DC output voltage accuracy for Vout=1.8V?
Output is gradually decreased while keeping operation. Do you have temp vs Vref graph?

I have few question regarding the thread.

Device has +/-1% accuracy for PWM mode only. Could you confirm with customer which mode are they using? Could you share schematic, Layout of customer ? these information will help to understand the scenario.

Datasheet figure23-25 show the output voltage accuracy of device with high temp. (Ta=85deg) and device output is quite stable on this temp range.

Hi Tanvee,

Their MODE/DATA pin is pulled high so the mode is PWM.
