TPS65400: Rise time limit for ENSW

Part Number: TPS65400

TPS65400 team,

Our customer wants to implement power sequencing for the rails in the system by implementing RC delays on the ENSW pins.  The rise time of ENSW could be as long as 10 ms in this design.  Is there any limit on the rise time for ENSW, or do you see any other potential problems here?

Thanks,

Darren

  • Hi Darren

There is no limit on the rise time for ENSW. The rise time depends on the RC value. There may be problem that when the turning off the IC, the capacitor of RC cannot be discharged quickly and the voltage of ENSW may still be high, so it may affect the sequence when restarting the IC.
