Hi everyone,
Our company is trying to design a battery cell emulator. Our idea is to emulate the behaviour of a lithium cell in order to test our BMSs. So our goal is to have a series of insulated, controllable, DC/DC converters able to maintain a fixed voltage at its outputs (1V up to 5V) with a maximum current of 3A (that is the max balancing current we would test).
Is there any IC already designed to accompish this goal? If not, can you advise me some techniques to control standard DC/DC buck converters through microcontrollers output (PWM, DAC,etc.) ?
Is there any useful application note?
thank you,
best regards
