TPS2595: Why it cannot start up when with CC load?

Team,

Customer is using TPS2595 for current protection. However, they found that with CC load, there is no output, which means that TPS2595 cannot be enabled.

But when it is with CR load, there is still regular output when it is enabled.

Could you help with this question?

Hi Miles,

Is it happening during startup? Is device not able to start?

Can you tell which board is customer using, share schematic and what is the load value? Also if waveforms can be shared for input pin,output pin and current through device that would help a lot.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, it is happening during start up and the device is not able to start output when in CC load.

Customer is testing under our EVM. So, do you have any idea about it? I would onsite to test next few days.

Hi Miles,

At what value of cc load startup is not happening? If customer can share waveforms that will help a lot. Also which setting of EVM are they using?
