TPS25940-Q1: Current Limit Accuracy Question

Part Number: TPS25940-Q1

Hello all,

Our customer is testing TPS25940-Q1 on their own board. They have a problem with voltage drop larger than expect (over 200mV).

The schematic seems alright, so we assumed that current limit causes the unexpected voltage drop as they set ILIM near the max Iout.

We know there is a 8% deviation in ILIM  from datasheet and 1% deviation in RLIM, but it seems that current limit turned on before Iout actually reaches the min ILIM.

Is it possible that ILIM accuracy goes over 8% when (Vin - Vout) changed, as the condition in datasheet is (Vin - Vout) = 1V?

If not, what else can affect ILIM accuracy?

Muwei Zheng
