BQ76940: BQ76940 VC5X short to GND

Hi

The customer designed the schematic and found the VC5X short to the GND, they added the 24V TVS, also short to the GND.

Attached the schematic for your reference.

Please give some suggestions.

    Hi Star,

    I do not see anything wrong with this schematic. The TVS diodes should not be a problem. These should be placed close to the device pins to be effective. 

    Maybe there is a short somewhere else in the schematic or on the board? Is this occurring on more than one board (to verify the IC is not damaged)?
