LM25085: PSPICE Simulation Error

Hey Team,

I am simulating a Buck Converter using the LM25085 and have a persistent error as follows:

'ERROR(ORPSIM-15143): Voltage source and/or inductor loop involving V_Vin1. You may break the loop by adding a series resistance'

I am attaching the schematic and the error images for your reference.

Please help me rectify this, looking forward to your support

you can try to remove V_IL1 to see whether it work.

Hey,

Yes I have tried that i.e., removing the V_IL1 and the error still persists.

Please let me know if there is any other solution.

Akash,

Is your CIN capacitance parameter ignored?

Your spice warnings lead me to believe C3 is not modeled as a capacitor.

I suggest using a capacitor model similar to C17 or one that doesn't give you warnings.
